I Heart Brass

I love working with all the different metals...silver, gold, brass, copper. I think though, that brass is one of my favorites. I feel like it is very versatile, I can mix it with any of the other metals and it is always a great compliment. Brass jewelry can also go with a number of various looks, its very vintaj. And that is what I love, nothing too showy...if I work with silver, I prefer the antiqued silver look...if working with gold then I prefer it to be brushed or textured, and copper, I prefer the oxidized look. Guess I am just not a flashy kind of gal.

Here is another favorite creation of mine...




This is a simple brass design. A petite art deco leaf dangles from 18" of small rolo chain. This piece wears nicely by itself, or can be spiced up by layering it with another necklace.


These earrings make more of a statement...



Textured brass stampings shadow sweet, romantic brass loops. Finished with over sized brass ear hooks.
